Dr Gardezi is a Clinical Associate Professor in Cardiology at Khalifa University and a Consultant Cardiologist at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in the UAE. He is board certified by the Joint Royal College of Physicians Training Board (JRCPTB) and the General Medical Council (GMC) in the United Kingdom and holds a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Cardiovascular Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians. Dr Gardezi is a fellow of many world leading prestigious institutions including the Royal College of Physicians UK (FRCP Glasgow), the American College of Cardiology USA (FACC) as well as the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance USA (FSCMR). Dr Gardezi specializes in heart failure, cardiac MRI, advanced heart failure, cardiac transplant, cardio-oncology, cardiomyopathy, adult congenital heart disease, and pulmonary hypertension. Dr Gardezi has a strong research background, having completed a Master of Science by Research in Cardiovascular Science from the prestigious University of Oxford, where he investigated the epidemiology and pathophysiology of atrial fibrillation and valvular heart disease. He has published multiple papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented his findings at national and international conferences. Dr Gardezi is a passionate educator and a member of the Academy of Medical Educators (MAcadMEd). His mission is to advance the field of cardiology and improve the outcomes and quality of life of patients with cardiovascular diseases.
