Umar A. Khan, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Critical Care Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Khan was working as a Staff Intensivist in the Johns Hopkins Health System. Dr. Khan received his medical degree from the Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency in Boston followed by a Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at University of Maryland and Cardiac Critical Care at Johns Hopkins, Baltimore. Dr. Khan also completed additional training in Quality and Patient Safety at the Johns Hopkins Armstrong Dr. Khan's research interests include Critical Care Ultrasonography and Mechanical Circulatory Support. Dr Khan joined CCAD as Cardiac Intensivist in 2019 and is currently serving as Director of CVICU.
